After this webinar attendees will be able to:

  1. Understand the real-life implications of navigating the mental healthcare system.
  2. Recognize and understand the biases present in the behavioral health system and their impact on patient care.
  3. Develop skills to effectively navigate the behavioral health system and advocate for patients in a biased system.
  4. Gain knowledge of legal and ethical considerations when navigating the behavioral health system as a patient advocate.
  5. Understand how to build a strong support network for both patients and advocates, including self-care practices.
  6. Apply knowledge in a practical scenario to reinforce learning and encourage peer discussion.
