Ardell Crite Otten, BCPA
Ardell's health career began in the Los Angeles County Health Department while still an undergraduate student at UCLA. After completing her academic studies, she worked for more than 25 year in administrative and management health care positions. During her career she has always focused on improving patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Ardell became a Certified Patient Advocate because she is passionate about supporting patients in navigating our complex medical and health care system. She believes that in helping patients she is also supporting the efforts of the doctors, nurses, insurance companies and others involved in the healthcare continuum, to provide the best services to their clients.
Ardell provides advocacy services for patients in several states and is available to help patients wherever they are in need. She enjoys writing, golf, long walks and spending quality time with her adult children and grandchild.
Terry McLellan, BSN, RN, BCPA
Terry McLellan has over 37 year in healthcare as she obtained her CNA when she was 15. College educated from Husson University in Bangor, ME graduating in 1994, her career has been very diverse working in long-term care, prison, pediatric hospital and home care, critical care, neurology, oncology and home health adult prior to opening my Independent Patient Advocate Practice. In December 2020, she opened SunNav Healthcare Advocates, LLC with the goal of being able to help individuals navigate the healthcare system providing the king of care that is so needed in the navigation of the complex healthcare system today. She strives to educate and empower clients and their loved ones to be able to feel confident in all medical decisions they make as well as being able to advocate for themselves.
Deidre Kindred, RN, BSN, FCN, BCPA, CEO
Deidre loves educating individuals and families with the right information to make the right choices for themselves. She has over 15 years experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care, former owner of Affordable Assisted Living & Services, 5+ years as a home health nurse, 3+ years as a home care infusion nurse, and 3 years as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant.
She has always felt that the healthcare system can be an intimidating world for those who are not healthcare professionals. She has experienced this professionally and then personally when her mother became ill and was battling MS, Parkinson's, Cancer, Asthma and Dementia. She feels a strong purpose from God to help others on their personal journeys. As a Nurse Advocate, she works for YOU. To help individuals have an individualized understanding of their personal journey, she will spend time answering questions and hearing concerns. She feels that if an individual is educated on the personal medical journey, that person is equipped to make better health choices.
